Important Alberta Driver’s Licence & ID Card Update
Starting July 2, 2026, Alberta is introducing new requirements for driver’s licences and ID cards. These changes include legal entitlement verification, an optional Canadian citizenship marker, and Personal Health Number updates for eligible Albertans.
